2015 Ford F150

For years the Ford F150 has enjoyed top dog status among all full size trucks, handily outselling all its competitors by a fair margin. It seems that every new redesign or change Ford does to its beloved best seller, it is received with open arms and most importantly, with open check books.Apparently Ford does not see it that way as for 2015 Ford will be making a rather radical move with the F150. Ford has decided to swap steel for aluminum, at least as far as the body of the truck goes. The aluminum that will be used is military grade and will result in a whopping weight savings of 700 pounds, that will most assuredly be a big help in increasing the mpg of the F150.
